Story
PeacePlayers NPO offers basketball programming, peace education, and leadership development. Through our programming, we transform the lives of youth living in communities affected by conflict and inequity. As a result, youth become equipped to influence lasting change in their communities.
PeacePlayers participants in Northwood’s basketball program have been a big part of the Northwood Schools’ ascent to the #1 team in the country. While the young men have gained national recognition on the court, most of them come from underprivileged backgrounds, destitute and lacking basic needs. Despite challenges, they have been afforded sport scholarships to Northwood and they are now some of the more elite and accomplished sportsman at the school.
